There is a ton of stigma out there now when it comes to women and makeup, and women and what they wear. Everyone has an opinion, and it doesn’t seem to matter what the opinion of the woman wearing those clothes or makeup is. That is just one reason why you should be looking good for you, not for someone else.
There are many reasons why women wear makeup and dress up. For some it’s just about making themselves feel good. Or, some just do it because it’s fun. Others dress up to impress, and that’s OK too.
Builds Your Confidence
One thing that looking good can do for you is build your confidence. Looking good doesn’t always mean wearing makeup though. Learning to love yourself natural is a great way to build your confidence and your self love.
That confidence will make you more attractive to the opposite sex, makeup or not. Guys are definitely more attracted to confident women, and you get that confidence with feeling good about yourself.
Even if you don’t have any plans, if you like to put on makeup or get dressed up, do it. There’s nothing wrong with being all dressed up and having nowhere to go. It can just make you feel good to be looking great, and it can be a fun way to try out new looks too.
One fun way to play around with your makeup is to watch some tutorials on YouTube. It’s a great way to find a new look, even if you prefer your old one. You just might find a new fun, flirty look for your next date night or girl’s night out.
Removing Clothing Stigma
What is your favorite piece of clothing? It might also be a cleavage showing tank top and a pair of short shorts. Hey, why not? There is so much stigma around what women chose to wear these days that none of it is going to please everyone.
Remove the stigma and wear what you want, and what make you feel good about yourself, and comfortable. Wear your pajama pants to the store if you want, because that’s your right. Other people’s opinions about you are never as important as your own opinion of yourself.
Remember, when it comes to your face and your wardrobe, all that really matters is what you think of yourself. You aren’t aren’t a tramp because of makeup or wardrobe. You shouldn’t be ridiculed for your chosen wardrobe. Have confidence, walk tall, and show haters that you love what you look like, no matter what they think.
